mary young is the definitive writer as well as collector of vintage paper dolls. her books of paper dolls printed in the 40s and 50s, divided by publishers, are wonderfully informative. this book, subjected by magazines is also very informative and the only reference source i know of. the indexing in all her books is a little problematic but there are not any other references available. mary young's books are labors of love and as a vintage paper doll collector i thank her.
