This book is nicely done, and has excellent photographs of Beanie Babies. The book is for Winter of 1999. It lacks many of the current Beanie Babies that are on sale now and is outdated. If you need to be kept current this is not the book to use. The current monthly magazines are the best buy for your money.

The cover says Winter 1999 Edition, but the book is 1998 information. It has 40 beanie babies that were listed in the Summer 1999 edition missing, and it only lists the first 9 Beanie Buddies instead of 28. I feel I really got cheated.

This series of books becomes outdated very quickly (every time Ty releases or retires beanies).

I really like this book because it's a great source of information and it has wonderful pictures. The only thing that was bad about it was it didn't have pictures of the new Beanie Babies.

this book is not good at all.it only contains info about 1999 beanie babies. dont waste your money on this book. you can look up an online price guide on the computer and find the value of your beanies.

The values are totally off.(they are too high of estiments)The value of all currents are unlisted. The book just stinks!If you want a value guide dont get this one. I recommend the Les and Sue Fox Handbook.

The book didn't give much insights to what I had expected. I ordered it from Amazon first before locating, in my opinion, a much better reference guide from the Learning Express store. I don't remember what the name the book was but it was selling for only $4.00. This book is average at best.

I really enjoyed this book, it was full of interesting information on beanies. However, I was a little dissapointed that it did not go into detail about "How to Spot Fake Beanies" and also it did not have the new beanies. But overall, it is a great source of information and the pictures are sharp and vivid. A must have for beginners.

The beabie baby handbook is the best book to have if you are collecting beanie babies. It is the most up to date, and it gives you the most information. From the types of beanies and generations of them, to how to tell if you purchased a fraud. If you are into beabie babies then you should have this book.
