Can't wait to buy this movie, but I'm willing to pay more for something more complete. Any word when it will be available (and where)?

Does anyone know if the Target Deluxe edition comes with a digital copy?

Somnambulist says:
It does!!

If you zoom in, you can see the back of the DVD case and it shows that it comes with both Utraviolet and an iTunes compatible digital copy. Y'know, all these other film companies should take notes. THIS is how you do digital copy.

You are awesome! Didn't even think of zooming in on that, thanks for pointing it out.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't usually buy dvds so I don't know this - how exactly do you play a digital copy on a tv and on a computer?

Best Buy - 2 Blu-ray/2 DVD combo pack + numbered limited edition "collectible" in cube packaging
Futureshop - District 12 steelbook, Mockingjay steelbook

Target - exlcusive packaging + bonus disc
Walmart - Mockingjay pendant + bonus downloadable VUDU content (possible exclusive packaging)

Anyone know if the Target digital edition is in HD? I don't own a blu-ray player, so an HD digital edition is a must. I would just buy it on iTunes, but for something like this I'd really like a physical copy. Thanks in advance :)

Anyone know if US customers can preorder from Futureshop and if they ship to the US?

Future Shop does not ship outside of Canada.

Might be a too late to catch you but do you know if the digital copy is the same for the Blu Ray edition? Since that link was for DVD only.

Best Buy has a collector's edition too. It's a little better than the other ones.

Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy of the movie
Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy of special features
Numbered acrylic keepsake
Collectible case

J. Miller says:
If you buy the BB case, you're stuck with getting all the other movies to fit in that box, likely all from BB. Also, why pay for that, fill it up with the other movies and for most of us, only to buy a collectors box set that will come on with all-new, never before features. No way a cash cow franchise like this won't offer that up to get more money. So, while I'm not strong enough to not buy it at all, I went for the lowest price ($18.99-Gold Box), knowing full well I'll be buying it all over again. Besides, the bonus disc on the Target edition is terrible, so you're paying extra for a cooler cover that you'll likely not even keep when they release all the films again.

I read the Target copy has 45 minutes of bonus 'tribute' videos, can anybody say whether or not those videos are any good?

EDIT: Never mind, I just found out it was some behind the scenes stuff.

"Stories from the Tributes - sit down with the tributes and hear the best stories of their time filming the most anticipated movie of 2012."

I thought the video was going to be sort of 'in-character', where they wrote in some backstories for all of the tributes we didn't get to hear anything about.

i saw on tv that the collectors editions are only on target... I'm not gonna bother much since it's just dvd format... The tribute videos can be found on Amazon in Instant Videos. I believe they are free, but I'm not sure.
