5.0 out of 5 stars excellence, October 7, 2010
This book is the cat's ass. It was required for my online algebra course. This basically consisted of teaching yourself the material using only the book and then heading to the professor's office hours if you had any problems/questions. So I taught myself college algebra using only this book and I received an A for the course. I haven't used any other college algebra books so I have nothing to compare it to. But this book will definitely lay it all out for you and get you where you need to be. Highest recommendation!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this book from "textbooknook" here on Amazon. FYI to all. Do not but from Textbooknook unless you want a used book. I ordered a "NEW" book from him and when I recieved it, the slip inside said "Brand new book!!! Never been used!!!". As I was looking through it to refreash my memory, I found question #s circled in the book. What happened to "Brand new book!!! Never been used!!!"? It isnt a big deal that the #s are circled, it is the fact that I ordered a new book for full price, and got a used one. I love Amazon, but please... whatever you do... DO NOT BUY FROM TEXTBOOKNOOK!!!
