Too many schools, not enough information....,

This review is from: The College Board College Handbook 2002: All-new Thirty-ninth Edition (College Board College Handbook, 39th ed) (Paperback)
This book includes every college in the United States, 4-year and 2-year-- since it has thousands of schools, it can't really focus on an of them. The book only gives about half a page to each college. It lists location, SAT statistics, percentages, a brief description, deadlines, financial aid and populuar majors. That's about it. Just the bare facts, no real insight. It comes with a CD Rom, but it wasn't very helpful. If you know basically what type of college you want to go to (i.e. 4-year liberal arts, etc), then I would recommend the Fiske Guide or Princeton Review 331 Best Colleges instead.
