Lessons 1-60 help students to develop the strong keyboarding skills they need and combine them with the functions of Word 2000, word processing software. Each lesson will highlight the applications used in all levels of the office environment, plus an early emphasis on skillbuilding provides a strong foundation and adds more reinforcement than any other text in the market.
Dr. Susie H. VanHuss is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Management in the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Carolina Community Foundation from May, 2008 through February, 2009 and as Executive Director of USC Foundations from September 1, 1997 to June 30, 2006. Previously she served as Professor and Head of the Management Department in The Moore School of Business. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana University. Susie is a prolific author who received a Gold Book Award from South-Western/Cengage Publishing Co. commemorating the sale of one million copies of one of her textbooks. Her work includes many textbooks in communications, keyboarding, word processing, and integrated computer applications.
