A positive attitude and emphasis on organization infuses this college application resource for students and parents on selecting the right college and achieving admission. Suggestions are offered for beginning the college-planning process as early as freshman year of high school to ensure that extracurricular activities and high school courses give students a competitive edge. Timetables and worksheets complement discussions of essential application documents including the college essay, resume, and financial aid application. Comments from an experienced student about the process give this guidebook a personal and positive perspective on this often frustrating process.

This review is from: College Knowledge: The A+ Guide to Early College Planning (Nuts & Bolts series) (Paperback)
This is an excellent overview for someone starting out on the College search with their first child. The forms are easy to use and very helpful in organizing your time. It's interesting to see the two perspectives: parent and student.

I highly recommend this book.
