Book Description

Campus Life 101 November 1, 1997
Wild Nights... Kim didn't exactly choose Summervale for its academic reputation. The best thing about this huge Midwestern university is that it's a total party school. And Kim's taking full advantage: she hasn't been home one night since she got here! The partying is great - though being hungover and broke most of the time isn't so wonderful. Still, isn't that what going to college is all about? Sure, it's a little out of control sometimes, but she can't seem to stop. And she also can't stop thinking about Joe. At first, he seemed way too studious and straight-arrow to be her type - but she can't get him out of her mind. The only problem is, she may be getting too wild for Joe to handle... College Life 101 Cameron, Zara, Allison, Kim, and Bridget. It seemed like they'd be friends forever, and they'd stay friends forever. But now college has scattered them all over the country, from south Florida to Seattle. New friends. New boys. New possibilities. New lives. Can their friendship survive...?

1.0 out of 5 stars bite me., April 5, 2006

Eh. You know how some books can make me bitter? This is one of them. I thought this was going to be one of the more realistic books about college life, but damn. Sorry, but I refuse to believe that a party-girl like Kim can Suddenly Realize what she should and should not do. And for her to care that much about the father she has never known? Hah. I HIGHLY doubt it. It's really annoying when writers keep trying to make a drama out of every little event. I guess this book (this series?) is targeted for middle school kids who for some reason adore reading about college.

Sue me.

5.0 out of 5 stars very good, March 4, 1998
This review is from: College Life 101: Kim: The Party (Campus Life 101) (Paperback)
I really like this series! It is so so realistic, and good. I can't put either of the books down. Now I feel bad for Kim. She doesn't have a father, and suddenly wants one, is living in a rat infested apartment, her apart ment mate was selling drugs, her eletrcity suddenly went out when she was typing her paper and didn't save it, and she falls for a guy with a girlfriend! Read it. You'll like it.
