Book Description

"College Scholarships for High School Credit" - Most parents stay pretty busy with the usual things of life - kids, work, spouse, house - the list can sometimes seem endless. That's why it's important to combine things when you can, and kill the proverbial two birds with one stone. A great place to apply this concept is when your high school student is pursing college scholarships.

This book will show you how to find, filter, format, and follow through with college scholarship applications and then count that work for high school credit.

Finding scholarships isn't easy, and it takes a lot of time. But when you consider the cost of college today, it's definitely worth pursuing. But finding scholarships is just the tip of the iceberg, of course, because after you find them, you need to filter them down to the ones that your child is eligible for. After filtering, it's helpful to format the various ones you want to apply to, so you can keep track of due dates, requirements, etc. And lastly, perhaps the most difficult part, you have to help your student follow through with the application.

As the parent, you can do a lot of the legwork in scholarship applications, but your student must ultimately write the paper or produce the product. It's hard work, and that's why they get high school credit for it. Hopefully, they will also get the college scholarships!

You can use this trick to save yourself time, money and frustration in both your homeschooling and your college financing! Using this strategy, Lee was able to earn $2,000 per student, as well as save money on curriculum. Some of Lee's clients have earned FAR more than that!

Imagine...instead of paying money for an English curriculum, you could have your English curriculum pay YOU! Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

This volume of Lee's acclaimed Coffee Break Book series shows you how it's done. Designed especially for parents who don’t want to spend hours reading a 400-page book on homeschooling high school, this series combines Lee’s practical and friendly approach with detailed, but easy-to-digest information, perfect to read over a cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop!

Never overwhelming, always accessible and manageable, each book in the series will give parents the tools they need to tackle the tasks of homeschooling high school, one warm sip at a time.

Lee Binz, The HomeScholar, understands what it takes to graduate homeschool students who are fully prepared for college and for life. Lee's practical advice and organized presentations have helped thousands of homeschool parents muster the courage to complete their homeschooling journey. She is both reassuring and empowering, and will give you the knowledge you need to successfully graduate your high school student, and have confidence that they are ready to take on the world.

A firm believer that homeschooling provides the best possible learning environment, and that parents are capable of providing a superior education for their children, Lee's mission is to encourage and equip parents to homeschool through high school.
