I used this textbook with a high school independent study course that I took through a university. This book taught me more about mathematics than any previous book I have studied.

As I said, I used this book with an independent study program, but it was absolutely no problem learning the material. This book teaches you trigonometry in an easy-to-understand and thorough way. I didn't have a teacher, and I didn't need one with this book.

This book is excellent for learning trigonometry, and a great preparation for calculus. If you want to learn trig, buy this book!

I too used this book to teach myself Trigonometry without a teacher. I think the book has a good layout and covers many Trigonometry topics, but my main problem with this book was the depth of the example problems. Learning with just this book was impossible for me, I needed to use the internet to look for step by step methods of solving the types of problems they show. Granted, the book did help me understand other Trigonometry topics like the Wrapping Function, better than any other source. For other things, however, such as simplifying Trigonometric Identities, this book was no help.

As I said, the only problem I found with this book was its explanation of the steps to solve problems. Many times the book would do something in the problem and wouldn't tell the reader why it does it. Overall, a good Trigonometry book, especially if you have taken this course before.

After being stiffed by another vendor, I was able to find the exact book, brand new and cheaper, and actually received it in two days with Amazon. I will definitely use this company again.

Good book, great printing and page construction, but the book lacks more instructions and step-by-step guidance on the problems and formulas. The authors must assume that the reader has already had Trigonometry.

This book was a good idea, and well done. Anybody wanting to learn trig, can pick up this book, learn trig, and be confident they are capable of doing the math.

I did not receive the book, and I requested a refund of $93.99 form the seller, but I don't get a respond.

This book was listed as "used-like new". It is anything but "like new". The inside binding is broken and it is all scribbled in.

In the past when I ordered "used-like new" books they were always in excellent condition. Even though the book seller had no reviews at the time I ordered this book, I figured I would give them a chance. However, I would never order from them again.

vendor lies, said i would get a 100% refund then when i got the refund it was short by $20.00, don't buy from this person!!!

The book was in its wrapping completely brand new. It shipped fast and was here within the week. The book was helpful and easy to read.
