This is a wonderful resource for the student of Church history or for the person who is simply interested in learning more about the fascinating events that make up the story of Catholicism. I used it for a class of adults who were interested in Church history and, without exception, everyone appreciated the concise way that each century's overview was presented. Reasonably priced and attractive illustrations make this a good gift item.
