5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty solid dictionary
I've found this dictionary very helpful. The entire back portion, (I'd say about a fifth of the book) is devoted to a grammar section which contains irregular verbs, verb tenses, confusing verbs and the subtle differences in their usage, numbers, pronouns and common problems, among other things. 1.0 out of 5 stars Usless for Americans trying to learn Mexican Spanish, April 4, 2009
This review is from: Collins Spanish Concise Dictionary, 5e (HarperCollins Concise Dictionaries) (Spanish Edition) (Paperback)
I don't know why the Collins dictionaries are sold in North America.

They frequently substitute dialect words used in Great Britian for normal international English words. This is needlessly confusing both for Americans trying to learn Spanish & especially for Spanish speakers trying to learn English.

A couple of glaring examples: the UK dialect word "trainers" is used in place of the proper English "running shoes". The dialect word "pitch" is used in place of the proper "playing field".
