No one is special, we all must clean first, then eat well...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Colon Health Key to Vibrant Life (Paperback)
I've done a 7 day colonic-fast. I am 27, to all appearances a very healthy and fit businessman who was even a vegetarian for 3 years. The amount of waste which came out was unbelieveable, I now understand that I need at least 3 more 7-10 day sessions over a 6 month period to clean out the rest. There were many pieces of rubbery stuff which exactly resembled diverticili, and pounds of general waste coming off the walls of the colon. Find somehere and some time when you can relax, and do it properly...this is not fool'in.

Colon Health Key to Vibrant Life,

This book saved my life! (NO JOKE) At the time I found this book, my colon had been completely shut down and badly impacted. I arrived for a colonic shaking with a high fever and dizzy (I was toxic). I could barely see. After having my first colonic and seeing what came out, blew my mind! I left feeling full of energy, the fever was GONE, I felt GREAT! I had lost 10 pounds with my first colonic! I refer back to Dr. Walker's books on a regular basis...but this is the gem of all his books! He certainly knew enough to live well over 100 (I think he was 127) and he died in his sleep. Don't wait until your are sick...look in your phone book under colonics and make an appointment today! After your first colonic, you too will be a beliver.

Your Colon is Most Important Organ in Your Body!,
By
This review is from: Colon Health Key to Vibrant Life (Paperback)
Dr Norman Walker does a good job in explaining the importance of the colon and how & why to keep it clean. There are many natural health books on the market and when selecting one to read ALWAYS check out if the author looks healthy! Dr Walker was really healthy and lived until 118 yrs, so he was obviously doing something right!

Not just about the colon...,

This book covers all of the organs, not just the colon. He says cows milk is the most mucous forming food, not just pasteurized but even raw! He also says that you should avoid starches. There's also some interesting info on what happens when you eat 2 non-compatible foods at the same time. In the chapter on genitals, he says guys should conserve their sperm, lol. Interesting book!

The book was alright. Not exactly what I was looking for. I thought it was going to explain how to cleanse the colon and keep it taken care of, but itonly mentioned getting colon hydrotherapy and had sections on each part of the body and what it's purpose is.

Life-changing key to lasting health,

This was the best health book I've ever read. I used to get sick every time I would travel... and I now I know why. During my trips, I used to eat lots of meat and fried foods, and I would be constipated for like 10 days... and then I would get sick for 2-3 weeks after. It was terrible. I would also get the flu once or twice a year. And every winter I would be coughing for months. Now, I'm careful not to eat fried foods or dairy. I avoid gluten and tough meat. Norman Walker was definitely years ahead of his time with his insights into health and nutrition. Highly recommend.

Great book for those that want to know the TRUTH,

This book kinda reminds me of the old Pepto Bismol TV commercials when the guy would say 'can I talk to you about' . . . and then he'd look both ways as to see if anyone was nearby or listening' and then he'd continue by saying 'diarrhea.' When you talk about your colon it seems to be a taboo thing but as the old saying goes, 'life and death begin in the colon'. Once you take the time to look at and it's function and just the common sense logic used in it - it MAKES SENSE. Get past the middle school approach of 'ewwwww, yuck' and look at it to how it serves your body - you will be amazed. You will spend far more on toxic pharmaceutical drugs and surgeries in trying to treat the symptoms than you would spend on cleaning out your colon and thus pulling many diseases you are struggling with out 'by the roots'. Buy it and read it. You won't regret it!

I'm into the health food movement like a lot of people nowdays. Unfortunately most books and programs don't cover all of the many ways to get and stay healthy. Although the above book listed is an excellent resource. It's like most authors and programs are trying to be too pc (politically correct). To correct myself a little, most health advice, programs, books and supplements usually offer pretty good advice these days. You know:
1. Don't alcohol 2. Don't abuse drugs 3. Don't smoke (cigaretts and the like) 4. Eat move live fresh fruits and vegetables. 5. Eat less process foods and meats. Now all of this is good advice, although there is a right way and wrong way to do anything. I saw an excellent book with a good 8 step plan. Search Amazon for: The Magic Of Mother Nature's Healing Foods. I liked it.

Book was in decent condition, as described. A little disappointed there was an address label stuck to the front of the book that I cannot get off without ripping the cover, which was not in the description.
