One of the best cd's I've heard!,

This review is from: A Colonial Christmas (Audio CD)
This cd is spectacular; Early Music NY is a great men's choir, and all their stuff is great. This cd contains a lot of shape-note singing, Billings work (an early american composer), and tunes from Playford's Dancing master, many of them vary familiar. If you like Jane Austen movies, you'll love this cd, becasue it's the same type of music. This recording never leaves my cd player, it's not just for Christmas.

This music takes me back to colonial England or Early America and really puts me in the Christmas spirit. Bring on the figgy pudding and wassail!
