I was introduced to this book by Cleland Blake, MD, of Morristown, TN. Dr. Blake, who is a forensic pathologist, praises it highly. I found it useful in several cases in which its photographs enabled a jury to visualize injuries and to compare same with non-abusive pathologies, helping lead to acquittals. As the price of this little book on Amazon is high, you may prefer a new book about to be published this year by Elsevier. Giardino & Alexander Child Maltreatment, 3rd Edition: 2-Volume Set with CD-ROM 2005 @ $319.95.

By facing up to cruelness of the sexual ill-treatment by thi s book, it is thought that many abnormal psychology situatio ns and misery of the children who encountered the damage can be understood approach.
