Do yourself a favor, buy this CD if for no other reason than you can tell your friends you were into Red Engine Nine before they got huge.

From the simple acoustic beauty of 'Stay' to the complex musical layers of such tracks as 'The Tree Song', this album is one of the best debuts I've heard in years.

I have had the pleasure of knowing this band for about a year now, and I must say, they are a wonderful escape from all the teenybopper garbage and metal that dominates the music industry these days. If you are looking for some good, non cookie-cutter music, then this record is well worth looking into. ....

i first listened to this band on riffage.com and bought their cd. i becam freinds with them and their freakin awesome. riffage shut down but i sitll have their cd and talk to them. this is great alternative music, and gets into you. check these guys out cause they rule ass.

This band captures the hearts and souls of East Central NJ's disenchanted working class youth. The urban sprawl and over development of New Jersey's Parkway towns has spawned a refreshingly original sound. The tone is that of Kurt Cobain meets The Who's "Were not gonna take it!" In these days of White Collared Phoney Rappers and White Soul Robot Boy Toy Groups it's great to hear a group who speaks whats on their minds and in their hearts. Better get on board before your shelling out $50.00 to hear them from the mezzanine.

I have been kicking around the NJ music scene for 20 years now. Dom Carino's abillity to speak from the heart is a refreshing change from the other thousands of wanna be NJ bands. Too many NJ gigs trade distorted , overdriven guitar licks and middleclass attempts at hip hop licks for true and original music from their own environments and life experiences. Red Engine is the embodiment of industrialized and over developed Central Jersey. Their guitar licks are improvisational and from so deep in the gut that they could be plucking their own intestines. Red Engine Nine is at the station, get on board and get ready for the ride into the souls of New Jerseys disenchanted youth because before long you'll be shelling out $50.00 to see them from the Mezzanine.

This band just blows you away! The lead singer Domenick is the answer to music, when he sings you listen. it's refreshing to know the music world gave birth to another risen star.

Saw these guys in NJ in Decemeber they blew my mind. It's in steady rotation in my CD player. Something for everyone. Buy it!

They are really good...I heard some of their music on riffage, and totally loved it. I agree that I wish they would come to Georgia!!!

I heard about this band from a friend that saw them in New Jersey.. This album is amazing.. The lyrics are so relatable and the songs are so catchy.. I wish they would play Georgia..
