5.0 out of 5 stars Art Therapy
After having a minor Stroke my Physical Therapist suggested coloring as an additional therapy to get better movement in my right hand and shoulder. I began with just crayons and colored pencils. Now I am using Watercolors and Acrylics, can sit for several hours doing this and LOVE every minute of it. (Sometimes I listen to books on tape while doing this). I am happy to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Some What Disappointed
I am an avid coloring adult. It is great for your stress release and it takes your mind off everything else for a short time. I was very excited when I saw the Monet coloring book. I thought it would be really cool to do. However after receiving it and starting my first page to color. I have to admit I was disappointed. Most of the prints are hard to make out in places...

5.0 out of 5 stars Art Therapy, August 21, 2009
This review is from: Color Your Own Monet Paintings (Dover Art Coloring Book) (Paperback)
I am happy to report I have completed my three months of physical therapy, still enjoying my Adult Coloring Books and now have complete movement in my hand and shoulder. They are educational as well as fun. (My therapist told me this was also good for lowering ones Blood Pressure, Stress, helps those with Alzheimers as well as many other things. This is considered Art Therapy). I would highly recommend these books!

I am an avid coloring adult. It is great for your stress release and it takes your mind off everything else for a short time. I was very excited when I saw the Monet coloring book. I thought it would be really cool to do. However after receiving it and starting my first page to color. I have to admit I was disappointed. Most of the prints are hard to make out in places and you cannot color them to match the orginal art work as there is a lot of white. So, all in all it was a let down.

4.0 out of 5 stars coloring book for kids, November 23, 2010

I teach French so I was trying to find "coloring" books I could use with students that had a Impressionistic feel. I like these a lot, and made MANY copies for my students, especially the girls! they are certainly for those who put effort into coloring, with lots of tiny spaces to color in. Boys may not want to do these, just a warning!
