From Library Journal
This audio version of Lindsey's (An Absence of Light) latest novel explores both the international art world and post-Cold War intelligence community. Former foreign intelligence service officer Harry Strand lives a quiet life as a Houston-based art dealer until his past reappears when a woman hires him to sell a print collection. He learns the truth about the death of his wife and that a powerful criminal and art lover plans to murder him. In an interesting twist, we discover that Strand's new life is financed by money embezzled from this same man. The well-paced story, performed excellently by Paul Hecht, moves from Houston to Rome to London and introduces a range of interesting characters plus several good plot twists and turns. Fun for spy novel fans and recommended for all audio collections.
