Ansel Adams (1902 - 1984) was the most honored American photographer of the twentieth century. Through his exhibitions and publication of his work, his writings, and his leadership in the Sierra Club, Adams was also a prescient and highly effective voice in the fight to preserve America's remaining wilderness.

Anyone familiar with Ansel Adams knows how lovely his work is. Really, it'd be impossible for this not to be a great collection of postcards. I don't like to keep unwritten cards for myself, but these are proving hard to part with.

Images are beautiful, colorful and detailed. Nice big card with plenty of room to write and no pre-printed "address to" lines. Sent out every one of them.

spread the love of A.A. art with these postcards. A good buy. I bought these and passed them out at a going away party for my brother who is a Marine and was being deployed to Iraq. Everyone filled them out and we sent a couple a week to him. He enjoyed hearing from everyone plus got to see some beautiful American scenery which was nice since he was in the middle of a wasteland.
