The color wheel went out on my Samsung DLP tv. I found a fantastic site which guides you through the process (with pictures!) of replacing the color wheel. Considering it costs $700 - $800 for a technican to fix, this is a cheap alternative to keep your DLP working.

Bought this and installed it in less than an hour. Works perfectly and resolved my issues with the TV making noise.

Time consuming to install, used a web site for directions. Read them twice before attempting and be patient.

My DLP TV was making some humming noise that was caused by an out of balance color wheel which had exploded. After replacing the noisy color wheel it restored the TV to normal operation, this color wheel was an exact replacement thanks.

While the product didn't come with instructions for my TV, I found and printed the instructions from a separate source. It probably took me two hours altogether working alone to replace the color wheel on my TV. It's amazing how that little part can be so aggravating in terms of the awful noise it puts out when it's gone bad...even while the picture that the color wheel is projecting seems fine. But, after it was replaced, it performs like new again! You can do this yourself...but, don't start until you are prepared with good instructions to follow for your particular model. This is the 3rd time this broke on my TV. The warrenty is up now and the first 2 times the company that replaced it charged the warrenty company about $1300.00, I ordered the part and replaced it for $95.00.

Great product, no problems at all. Product worked as advertised. I highly recommend this product.

I cant review the part because Amazon has the wrong one listed. I entered my TV information and Amazon told me this was the part I needed. I clicked on order, and gutted my TV to install it. The part was not even close.

As far as Samsungparts.com, the company that actually sent the item, they have been great. Amazon instantly referred me to them. When I called them, the immediately gave me a return number, offered to credit the amount back to my card, and told me the correct part number to call back and order from them.

Part fit my Samsung HLM 5065 perfectly and the DLP TV lives on. Installation is a bit tricky, but can be done if you have some skill and patience.

I had received a defective part but was returned for another one. The process was quick and simple and I received the new part expeditiously. I would recommend buying from this merchant again because of their professionalism and quick response.
