If you like Donna the Buffalo, you will like this Ithaca style music. It's Americana at its best. But, I'm not sure why you should pay thiry bucks to an Amazon reseller since CD is readily available at funkyside.com for fourteen and at chautauquaamp.com for fifteen. You can listen to sound bites at funkyside. Unfortunately, band is breaking up so this will probably be the last CD for current members although I would guess that "survivors" will regroup with a new cast.

Great harmonies, catchy rhythms, highly distilled production. These guys have all the necessary elements to make it big. I've seen a great deal of live music across several genres from local bands to world class acts and I can tell you they rank extremely high in terms of overall talent. The live concert experience being the litmus test of any self respecting band, Big Leg Emma has perfected and evolved these tracks (this CD is from 2007) over the course of many performances. If you live in the western New York / northwestern PA area, please make it a point to attend one of their shows!

This Big Leg Emma album is very, very good from start to finish. If you like melodic music w/ a danceable groove, give this a try. You will not be disappointed. When a cd hooks you on first listen, you know it has to be good, and "The Color of Wind" does just that.
