Niece pleaser!
Combined Ellis the Elephant with a book and sent them to four-year-old niece in Arizona. She is thrilled with both items.

-Not as Huggable as Advertised
Make sure you read the dimensions of your animal before purchasing. They aren't as "large sized" or "huggable" as they advertise. I bought Bailey the Bear for my little girl and it's tiny. About 8" tall. The colors are fun and it seems to be a sturdy stuffed animal but very much on the small size. I wouldn't buy again.

I was very pleased with this elephant doll. Not only are the vintagey looking prints just darling, but it feels well made and stands on its own, which is a huge bonus.
The fabric is just good old fashioned cotton canvas, sewn with stitches. No glue was used as far as I can tell. The legs and trunk are sturdy and are still small enough for a child to hold on to them with. The ends of the feet and trunk tip are in a white felt. Its big enough for an infant to "hug" and bury their face in it - just right if you ask me. The floppy ears are also fun. Its a very charming doll and now I'm wondering if I might need another.

I ordered this for my 6 month old daughter as a Christmas present. It is very bright and cheerful, and she loves it! I'm sure as she gets bigger, it'll be a favorite. Great stuffed toy.
