Product Description

Wall nicks, scratches, scuffs and stubborn stains occur in all households. Also, having a young artist in the family can pose problems when removing drawings and scuff marks from walls and painted surfaces. Setting up rollers, trays and drop sheets for small touch up jobs can be time consuming and messy. Additionally, cleaning products only work on certain stains and do nothing to cover scratches and scuffs where the paint has been affected. To make this job easy ColorGlide Pro takes the hassle out of covering stubborn scratches, scuffs and marks on doors, baseboards and walls. The ColorGlide Pro is a quick and easy solution that uses your own custom colored paint. If you have cans of paint laying around, or your are ready to newly paint rooms in your home, the ColorGlide Pro is the perfect tool. Simply use the included pump to transfer paint from the can directly into the ColorGlide Pro, screw on the applicator cap, them remove the applicator protective cap and you are ready to paint over the stubborn marks. Once you are finished simply store the filled tube away for another day. For example, after painting a room, before closing the paint cans for good, you now can store excess paint from your project in a ColorGlide Pro for future touch-ups. The color can be seen through the tube for easy identification. Later, when a wall needs a minor touch-up, you simply remove the protective cap, squeeze some paint to the surface of the felt tipped paintapplicator and paint of the stain, scuff or scratch. Once your painting task is complete, cleaning is simple - either rinse the applicator or simply cap it and store it for a future use. ColorGlide Pro is also a useful tool for making signs and children's art and craft projects.

This is an awesome idea... an empty tube with an applicator and "air tight cap". I loved the idea of being able to fill it with MY paint for a "perfect" match for easy touch-up. I thought this was exactly what I was looking for. We are residing our home with pre-painted siding. We bought quart sized containers of matching touch-up pain to cover nail heads, scuffs, and other small blemishes.

The good points: 1) It was very easy to fill the tube. 2) The "air-tight cap" seemed to work wonderfully.

The problems: 1) the hole in the applicator tip which allows the paint to flow out of the tube onto the applicator tip could be smaller. Even without squeezing the tube, the paint flowed out way too easily and it was difficult to control the amount of paint on the applicator tip. 2) the "fuzzy" layer on the applicator tip actually pealed-off after touching-up just a few small scuffs. This left a hard and abrasive surface on the applicator tip and made it useless.

This is a long-overdue great idea! Works well and as stated. Also, to my happy surprise, as an added bonus-the seller included an extra one in the box along with a note saying thanks. I may buy a few more since they're so useful!

My 3-year old cat is like having a posse of 5-year old children in the house. He is constantly knocking things over and marring the walls. So I was constantly opening up a paint can of one wall color or another to touchup dings and scratches. Somehow, besides getting rid of the cat who does, believe it or not, have his virtues, I felt there had to be a better way. So I was looking for a product where I could just store a little bit of paint for touchups and the TouchUp Buddy exactly suited my needs. It comes with a pump that is long enough to reach down to the bottom of a 1-gallon paint can, so you can easily pump paint into the tube. Then, as advertised, you just screw on the applicator and squeeze a tiny bit of paint out of the tube and onto the applicator to touchup all of those dings and scratches. After you are done, just run some water over the applicator to clean it, pat it dry with a paper towel, and put the protective cap on. There is a spindle in the cap that keeps the paint from coming out onto the applicator when you are storing it. I bought 5 of these so I could have enough for every paint color in my house. Probably the longest part of the whole process was cleaning the paint from the pump, but it is easy to do. I'm not sure how it will do with oil-based paints, but for latex-based paints, it's perfect!

We bought this to try to touch up some spots on our baseboards. The paint runs out of it unless you tilt it up- which is opposite of what you need for baseboards. The pad at the end also feel off after about 2 minutes, which pretty much makes it just a tube holding paint with a hole in the end. I know this product is cheap- but it literally did one little spot on our baseboard and that was it.

This is awesome for touch-ups. It is easy to use and really clean. No mess. No "accidents". I keep a tube of every color I have in my house.
