Experts agree--the number one tip for positively great prints--calibrate your monitor. Monitors are like snowflakes, everyone is different and they change over time as they age. Now with ColorPlus, your colors can finally look their best and brightest. ColorPlus corrects your CRT, LCD, or notebook monitor for accurate, reliable, and consistent color--day-to-day and image-to-image. It also gives you a wider range of colors, better flesh tones, and more open shadows. Spend more time behind the lens or printing your photos instead of wasting time, paper, and ink. Pros correct their monitors at least once a month--now you can too in your home.
ColorPlus includes an award-winning, patent-protected color hardware sensor and wizard-based monitor calibration software. The color hardware sensor connects to your computer using USB and easily attaches to your CRT, LCD, or notebook monitor. In a few easy steps, the software guides you through the entire process to deliver precise color in the widest range your monitor can produce. ColorPlus automatically calibrates your monitor to industry standards for color, gamma, white point, and luminance.

Amazing Deal!,

This review is from: ColorVision ColorPlus (CD-ROM)
I am an amatuer photographer, and painter. And I have always had trouble producing consistent colors and contrast with images. I adjusted my monitor all the time, but the images would look different on other monitors. I really wanted to get the Pantone Sypder, but couldn't afford it. When I saw ColorPlus and the price I got it right away. Let me just say that after installing the software (which was easy) and hooking up the hardware (easy too) and then going through the on screen guide (which took maybe 10 minutes), I noticed a HUGE difference in my pictures. At first I really didn't notice anything, until I opened some pictures of people. You can see excellent flesh tones. Before it was like looking through a blurry glass, now pictures of people are sharp and clear. Plus my video games are much clearer as well.Bottom line: If you do lots of graphics work and are on a budget this is a must have.

Great product,

This little piece of software and hardware combination works great. I had a bad problem with colors being different in my color managed applications (adobe photoshop, rawshooter premium) and my windows using a Samsung LCD screen. Calibrating the colors using colorvision solved this - now I have consistent and precise colors throughout. It's simple to setup and run. Just remember to turn of your screensaver / powersaving mode when running this because if your screen goes off in the middle of the process you will not get a working profile.

Terrific Results on a Budget,

I have a single LCD monitor on a Windows XP system. I have had no problems with this product. I am very satisfied with it and the results I get from using it as a semi-pro photographer. Using the standard pro software to edit and set-up my images I need to soft-proof my images with a printer profile that simulates how my pics will look as printed on a particular commercial printer. Colorvision's Colorplus allows me to get reliable, pro-quality results where the images on my screen will match what I get from my commercial printer. Excellent value!!!
