I've read (and own) the entire Blood Rose Trilogy, and couldn't wait to get my hands on Kaki's next series, The Runaway Brides.
Maddie and Angus struggle between duty, honor, and love and the angst between them is as palpable as the attraction.
I must say I'm enjoying this series.
