This is a comprehensive guide for exploring numerous backroads in North Central Colorado, especially around Breckenridge and Leadville! The authors identify the old mines, ghost towns, and ruins you see along the trails. Mainly written for people driving SUVs, all the trails are rated for difficulty, although none of them are ultra hard. Plenty of easy and moderate scenic drives make you feel like you are really exploring Colorado's fabulous backcountry. You won't get lost with the detailed directions! It is really fun using this book to navigate the trails. Handy size. Color photos and historic photos too. Highly recommended! Backcountry Adventures Colorado (Backcountry Adventures)
