Hundreds of men, women and teenagers are featured. Chapters cover the care of big game, estimating the size of game in the field, and photographs of special interest. More than 65 historical photographs are included. This is the second edition of a book with the same title that was published in 1983, 1984, 1989 and 1990. The second edition is fully expanded and updated with 500 new photographs and 200 new hunting stories. The exact hunting locations of B&C, P&Y and Longhunter Program trophies are highlighted. Eight World's Records are featured and all animals are from Colorado.

About the Author

Susan Campbell Reneau was raised in Colorado Springs and graduated from Wasson High School and the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). She holds a B.A. degree in education and speech communication from UNC and a M.S. degree in business marketing and public relations from American University. Susan wrote her first book in 1982 titled COLORADO'S BIGGEST BUCKS AND BULLS, First Edition. Since then she has writted or edited 58 books. The latest edition of COLORADO'S BIGGEST BUCKS AND BULLS took Susan six years to research, compile and write.

Loaded with up-to-date records and statistics, this second edition of the bucks and bulls record book is a great tool and an interesting read. It doesn't matter if you live in the eastern U.S., South or Midwest, you don't have to have mule deer and elk in your state in order to appreciate this book. If you love to hunt big game, buy this book.

This book is amazing! I'd recommend it. Some folks might be happy simply looking at the tons of photos of big deer and elk, but I am amazed at the historical information and statistics. Very impressive. And it's a good read for anyone who is interested in Colorado's biggest bucks and bulls.
