Wonderful book on mixing colored pencil colors. This is difficult information to find in other books. It is layed out very nicely and any colored pencil artist would find this to be very useful.

Her books are terrific for choosing colors and mixtures. This particular book is quite expensive due to out of print status. If you can find it and are using colored pencils, buy it!!

Great book for those who work with colored pencils. It helps take out some of the guess work with color mixing. My art teacher recommended this book if one could find it--I got lucky on Amazon.com. It was a true 'find'. The book, although used, came in excellent condition--you could not tell that it had ever been used.

This little book shows you different ways to mix up your pencil colors!! The only thing I was a little disappointed in is I thought it would contain more pages in it than this.

This book is a complete color breakdown of the primary colors....combined with many additional colors to create some unusual shades that you will want to make a great piece of art! It also uses several mediums to get the desired effect; e.g. watercolor, colored pencil, and several other materials that will enhance your work. I had this book for years...lost it..and bought another here..only to then find my original book. The seller would not accept my return! I spent $10 for my book...the seller wanted $33. The original price for my book was $17.99 in book stores. The online bookstores want $50!!! Look for this great book in used bookstores or online Art Supply Stores. Good Luck!

I have a similar book for water colors and pastels, but had never seen one for colored pencils. It is much more difficult to "mix" colored pencils because it's usually done by layering. This book does an excellent job of showing how colors are layered and the end result. I especially like how each swatch goes from a light application at the top corner to a darker, more opaque application at the opposite lower corner.

I absolutely love this book! It has been the most help to me when applying layers of color pencil.
I use it all the time.
