Knudsen has crafted a very nutritious serving of chameleons info!!! This book will appeal to the youngest children readers (ages 3-4) and to kids who are taking off (5-7). Older kids (and adults) will learn a lot too!! Full of facts I never knew, Colorful Chameleons is a must for new Chameleon pet owners and elementary school classrooms and libraries. I plan to use it in my second grade classroom this year as we study habitats and animals. Well-written with an easy-to-read pace and full of colorful illustrations that always match the text...this book is just another fabulous Step into Reading from Random House!:) BUY IT!
