I've purchased several Colorite lead-free hoses and they have made some real junk ones, but this is not one of them. It's advertised as kink free and for the most part that is true. You do get a few small kinks in it that easily are removed, but I've seen nothing like another reviewer noted. Also, I've had no issues with the ends leaking again as another review noted. I've found the hose in general to be very durable and well made. It's actually the best lead-free hose I've seen.

What can I say? It's a hose. I haven't had any leak issues like the other poster, but this thing kinks big time. I have 150 feet of this hose and I have to take a kink out of it EVERY TIME I pull it any distance. I've tried pulling it straight and leaving it in the hot Texas sun to make sure there are no loops in it, but that didn't make a difference. If you want kink free, buy another hose.

I seldom write reviews, but this hose is a piece of junk. No matter how loose or tight I cranked down the female end, it wouldn't stop leaking. Tried several different washers before I gave up and spent $7 on a new brass hose end....Still cheaper than sending the stupid thing back. I've never had a serious issue with with anything bought from Amazon, but this is the second hose I've bought, and they've both been a real let-down. Stay away from this one.
