I have two major complaints with most outdoor water hoses: they leak and they kink. This hose has fixed both issues. At 100 feet long, there is no connection to leak. The connection to the water source is tight and secure and does NOT leak. So far it IS kink-free. Instead of frustration, I now water my plants happily and with dry hands and feet. The product was worth every penny and it came with an excellent warranty. I highly recommend it.

I bought one of these at a retail store. I am a bit picky when it comes to hoses and I needed a given size for my hose reel. This was the only one on the shelf that fit the bill. If you look closely at the pictures, the male hose ends are different from pic to pic. In one pic you will notice it's a segmented thread, almost like a thread tap to help clear out debris when threading on a nozzle. This IS true, and was a good selling point for me since I do have some nozzles with corrosion in then (this will be addressed in another product review for someone using cheap pot metal and then brass-color plating over it!)
In theory, this is great, in practice, it's a disaster! Every time the hose would twist a little, the nozzle would unthread slightly, and because there were large gaps in the threads, I got a nice shower instead of just a small leak. After this happening three times in one use, I returned it.

This hose actually came kinked, it won't straighten out. It has permanant creases where it was obviously rolled then crushed for a period of time. It is rigid and won't straighten out. I think it must be very old, or it has endured very hot temperatures which makes it seem aged. Please do not purchase this hose- you will waste $48 dollars like I did.
I'm going to buy a new hose tomorrow, but not from this seller or this brand.
