4.0 out of 5 stars Just as promised, but buy two
I purchased the Mivizu Nike+iPod sensor pouch so that I could avoid having to buy some lousy pair of $100+ Nikes in which to bury the Nike+ sensor. The item was exactly as promised and arrived quickly. I would say based on the price and the quality this is an excellent buy. Probably one of my top ten purchases ever - value-wise - on Amazon.

The only two...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay...but...
I do like the color and it keeps the sensor snug. However, there is a print(?) defect on the front side of the pouch sent to me...a discolored line running across it. I also do not like it much that you cannot easily transfer the pouch to another shoe because that would mean unlacing the shoe to take it off. Easy way would be to buy another one for another pair.

The only two caveats:

1) Buy more than one. They are super inexpensive and if you are like me, you have more than one pair of running/workout shoes. It's worth adding a couple more to your cart now rather than finding out how convenient and great it is and having to put in a whole separate order. And once it's on, you are definitely not going to go through the hassle of unlacing everything just to transfer to another shoe. "Set it and forget it" to quote some cheesy late night infomercial that escapes me.

2) If you have already been using your sensor, you will want to recalibrate your stride/pace with the Mivizu set up. The reading will be different and the data will be off if you don't. That's simple enough and will make life easier in the long run.

In short, great product, great price, good shipping options and highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits perfectly, no manual/instruction, April 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
A small washable pouch for Nike+ sensor that secures the sensor at a stable and constant position. There isn't any instruction or manual included, but most people should find it to be pretty straightforward and easy to install.

Remember to keep the flat surface of the sensor pointing upwards as you insert it to the pouch. Unlace your shoe and start inserting the first cross of the shoelace at the bottom shoelace flaps of the pouch. Continue criss-crossing the shoelace until you find the appropriate height to insert the shoelace to the upper shoelace flaps of the pouch.

It'd be best to install the pouch on your left shoe and do walking and running calibration once it's installed as the new position of the sensor would impact the recording of your walk and run.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little product!, August 7, 2009

Works exactly as described. I like that I can lace the shoestring through the pouch...really keeps it secure! I would recommend to anyone that does not have Nike+ shoes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well., February 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Haven't had any issues with this little pouch. I don't run in the rain, so it's not a problem for me keeping it dry and protecting my sensor. It's also unobtrusive, and looks pretty well on my shoes. I wear it towards the toe, and have had no problems with my iPod picking up the sensor's signal.

yep, it works great. Super cheap and bright pink (my wife said..."PINK??!?"...hey it was cheaper and no one is judging my shoes). It does excatly what it is supposed to do. I've ran in the rain with it without problems. Totally worth this cheap price!

4.0 out of 5 stars Could use some sort of directions, November 18, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Wasn't sure if it matter how I laced the pouch on, so I used one lace through both bottom loops, and one for both top loops. I went for a run to test it out and it was barely registering movement. A half hour into my run it claimed I had run less than half a mile. So the next time I relaced it with seperate laces through each loop and turned the sensor the opposite direction. It worked just fine after that. It would have been nice if it came with some sort of directions for use in order to get the best results. But now thats it's working it does the job great, and blends into my shoe without being too obnoxious. Would buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good foot pod holder for the price, May 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have two foot pods that I use. I really like this one, because I never have any trouble with syncing or with the sensor being picked up. The downside is that it's not easy to take off if you use more than one pair of shoes. If this is the case for your, I highly suggest getting 2 or more. Then you can remove the foot pod using the velcro strap and without taking it completely off your shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Alternative to Expensive Nike+iPod Shoes, January 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've had this sensor pouch for several weeks now, and I really like it.

Materials/construction is sturdy. The item is will made and will take the abuse of being tied to my running shoes without fraying/falling apart or popping open.
Overall Look: acceptable. I wouldn't consider it much of a Fashion Statement, but it's not too bulky or awkward.
General Use: There are no directions/suggestions for how to thread it onto your shoelaces, which would have been helpful. I had to try a couple different lace configurations before it looked right.

5.0 out of 5 stars if you use the nike+, this is good., September 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Even if you have the nike shoes, I think this is better because you won't forget about them. I don't use this anymore because I just use my iphone.
