My previous iPhone case was a black hard rubber case by Contour Designs - it was $29 at the Apple Store. That case was great, but after awhile, I got bored with the plain black skin on my iPhone. I was shopping online for a case with zebra stripes when I came upon this product and decided to give the red case a try. I had nothing to lose with the unbelievably low price! I was extremely surprised when the case arrived. The color is absolutely stunning - way beyond what I imagined it would look like. It's a perfect deep, rich red, with a metallic kind of sheen to it - hard to describe but gorgeous and something you do not see on other iPhones out there. It has an interesting texture also - smooth, but also easy to keep hold of.

At first I was a little unsure about the case because it doesn't fit as seamlessly as the Contour Designs case does. It comes in two pieces that snap together around the iPhone, but the seams don't seal shut as tightly and flawlessly as the Contour Designs case does. However, the color and texture of this case were so beautiful, I wanted to give it a try anyway, just for the pleasure of looking at the color.

After a few months of living with this case on my iPhone, I can honestly say that I'm still thrilled with it. It is so beautiful to look at, and its performance has been excellent. It's easy to keep a grip on and I don't have a single complaint about its functioning. I have no problem recommending this to others. I'm actually thinking of ordering it in another color - the color of the blue one looks to be as spectacular as the red.

This works as it should. It's pretty easy to snap it onto & off of the phone. A few things to note:

1) I would not call this a "slim" case. There are others out there that are much thinner.

2) I don't like having a lip around the front face of my phone. This is just a personal choice, not the fault of the product. I realize I'm sacrificing protection by not having that lip...I can live with that.

3) It "sticks" to the inside of most of my pockets. This could be a good or bad thing. I found it to be annoying. But I don't consider it a failure of the product...just the nature of the material it's made out of.

4) The Apple logo is slightly off center. I'm not an Apple fanboy, so this doesn't bother me, but could really upset some people.

Overall, I feel I got what I paid for. I will use this when I expect to be quite a bit more active (such as camping or hiking). Otherwise, I have a much thinner case for day-to-day use.

I ordered this case to protect my iPhone. Not only does it fully protect the silver band around the front of the phone (it completely covers it, unlike other cases), it looks great. I've gotten a bunch of compliments on the look of the case. The hard rubber shell provides more protection from bumps and drops and its smooth finish doesn't stick when you put it into your pocket. And bonus, and it shows the apple on the back of your phone. Very happy with this case!

I paid $11 for this and it wasn't even worth that. It broke on me within a couple of weeks. I have since replaced it with a similar one and like the other ones I have had, it is holding up fine. The edges on this case cracked and it no longer held the phone in place.

I do NOT recommend this. First of all, the material is NOT what I expected! It says its rubber, but um NO its definitely plastic with some type of..film painted on it to make it feel soft! And second, it cracked the very first time I dropped it (dropped on hardwood floor), and over time the crack kept getting bigger, so the piece that cracked broke off, I ended up buying a different one from Best Buy after that (which i love and it actually IS rubber lol). But its okay i guess bc I'd rather it be the case that broke instead of the phone, but STILL! It says in the description: "Made to last, our hard case is 3x more durable than our competitors" HAHAHHA RIGHT! The only thing good about it is the look, sure its pretty, but NOT WORTH IT!

I have had this for months, and it still does the job and I still get compliments on it all the time. For a fraction of the price of what other places sell them for, this one is worth it. I love the little cutout for the apple logo in the back too. I have dropped it face down on the concrete and not a mark! Love it!

It is the best case I have ever had for my iphone and I am EXTREMELY picky! I have had 4 cases prior to this one and the hard rubberized feeling is pure quality! I get compliments on the case all the time...a must have in my opinion! :)

I ordered 2 cases from the sellers "Minisuit" a couple of months ago, I really liked the cases, but wanted a different color. I went back to my old order and followed the link to order a red and purple case. The two I got ended up being from a place called "BargainCell" and are completely different. I clicked on the different colors and some are from "Minisuit" and some are from "BargainCell." The two I just received are only back covers, they aren't two piece covers like shown in the picture. They are also not rubber, but hard plastic. The purple isn't even close to the purple shown here. I'm not only disappointed, but ticked off at being deceived from Amazon. If you choose one, make sure you get one from the seller "Minisuit" that's the one that looks like the photographs. The two I just recieved from "BargainCell" are JUNK!

This item is the best in terms of quality / price ratio.
Purchased through Amazon and including tiny delivery charges it is still 3 times cheaper and way better than the other major item I looked at (transparent, whole body case in nearby Walmart). Delivery was very fast.

Pros:
+ comes with a pretty descent screen protector. Apply it as instructed and you'll be fine.
+ front and back counterparts interlock easily, covering all parts of the iPhone which are there to be covered.
+ iPhone will not be scratched by dust or other particles while being inserted or taken out of this case (this is a problem with some other slide-in cases).
+ hard rubber offers great protection from scratches and prevents the device from slipping out from the hands or table.
+ wide color selection and nice design.

Cons:
- This is problem with virtually all cases (if not - let me know!): all I care about is preventing dear valuable iPhone from breaking apart after falling down on the floor. This is only possible, I guess, with a rather thick, elastic case. The thickness and elasticity of this case, although being better than those of most other cases in the market, does not seem to provide enough protection for a serious fall.

This a nice case overall and I was extremely happy about the price compared to mall prices and even other websites. Be careful ordering your color. When I first clicked the hyperlink and saw this case I expected to get the 2-tone blue/black case. I ordered blue. I didn't realize my mistake until I received the case and there was no receipt or return labels so I probably won't return it (a bonus for this company).

Pros: Looks great, color is what it represented online, covers well, rubbery enough to be non-slippery

Cons: 2 pieces with enough gap to seperate easily if dropped (hasn't happened yet though), is a hard case but pliable
