This book holds a very special place in my heart. Of the zillions of books my kids had, we looked at this over and over and over again and never got bored with it. The photos are big and vibrant and perfect for asking "what is?" or "where is?" It seems so simple but there is something about this book that captures both kids' and parents' attention. So much so that even after lots of scotch tape, my kids wore out two copies! I continue to give it as a baby gift and everyone I have given it to says the same thing..."oh my gosh, we LOVE that book!"

When my daughter was born, a dear friend gave her this book as a gift. She loved it when she was a baby, when she was a toddler, and now that she's on her way to thirteen, she tells me she still loves it, and remembers it with great affection. Now my friend's daughter has had a son (Welcome, Zachary!) and we couldn't think of anything better to give him to begin what we hope will be a lifelong love of books. This one is a great one to start with, because it stays with you.

I bought this for my 11mo. old and when I opend it was it an eye catcher!! Very colorful and definetly will catch the babies eye... Good book for little ones!
