Best "Colors" book we've found,

My 15 month old twins have several books that are meant to teach colors. But this is their favorite -- NO CONTEST. When I read to them, I have to hold them both on my lap, and if they are at all fussy or tired, it can often turn into a contest of wills (who gets to turn the pages, who has more of my attention, etc.). Not with this book. They are so interested in the nice bright, photographs of everyday objects -- flowers, food, clothing on children, etc. -- that they don't even notice if one or the other of them gets to turn two pages in a row (or EVEN if I turn the pages instead of them! Now, that doesn't happen often). We have a lot of books, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best "educational" ones we've found.

This book helped in teaching our toddler colors. The real-life pictures were also great in him learning new words...
