Colostrum, often referred to as Mothers Milk, is critical to the health of the newborn. Studies now show the increased risk for health problems for adults who are not breast-fed as infants. In addition, studies show the health benefits of supplemental colostrum for immune deficiency (including HIV), inflammatory problems (such as arthritis and allergies), auto-immune conditions (such as multiple sclerosis), cancer, and to help build resistance against opportunistic infections such as the common cold and flu.
