Rick Darke's book is the best yet on the subject. The photographs show each plant in its season of interest and the information is well-researched and well-presented.

Rick's book is wonderfully comprehensive and has great illustrative photgraphs. The prose is honest, personable, and not confusing. This book has been instrumental in opening my eyes to the beautiful and diverse world of ornamental grasses, and I believe it will helpful to many a gardener in the processes of selecting and caring for ornamental grasses.
