' bought the album in'79 - still great christian rock today. A ground breaking album in it's time.

5.0 out of 5 stars I agree with the reviews!, March 4, 2008
This review is from: Colours (Audio CD)
This is by far THE BEST Rez band album ever. Probably THE BEST CCM hard rock album period. Every track, save one (Beggar in The Alleyway - I tried to like it but it doesn't grab me, but that's okay!), this album still more than hits the mark. Musically and lyrically this album is moving. Very emotive, terrific hooks, and most definately a stake in the ground, marking territory reserved for MEANINGFUL musical landmarks. I was blessed to have Glenn Kaiser, the songwriter and guitarist for Rez, autograph my CD personally. Lord bless you Glenn.... Jesus, bless this man and strengthen his heart in You everyday. God bless you and your family Glenn! A multitude read God's word but few pick up their guitar with one hand and hold Jesus' hand with the other and WALK ON.

5.0 out of 5 stars "And you thought diamonds were the hardest rock!", February 7, 2005
This review is from: Colours (Audio CD)
Can't rave enough about this classic gem!

If you like 80s hard rock/metal, then this is the album for you--tremendous and creative production, heart searing lyrics that challenge you, and some of the best dual guitar leads. And the title track has an irresistable bass line and the dual-guitar lead that just goes on and on and on -- great stuff!
