The one selection "While My Lady Sleeps" makes this CD worth every penny and a lot more. It is one of the most spine-chilling songs recorded during his "sheets of sound" era. Rudy Van Gelder, the engineer, was recording most of his master tapes for Blue Note in stereo by the time this album was recorded for Prestige in May 1957. It's unfortunate Mr. Van Gelder didn't record this album in stereo. By the way, all of the sidemen are giants in their own right.

Better than some of the other early Coltrane Prestige recordings.....It's a real winner...Always a treat to discover new Coltrane stuff from this period.
