It seems very sturdy.

I was able to put the bike together myself, but recommend that afterward you take it to your local bike shop to have it fine tuned.

I'm glad I bought it and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a good folding bike.

This is the second folding bike I have purchased. For the money you get a solid bike with Shimano components. The bike came assembled, packaged nicely in a box, except I did have to pump up the tires. The handle bars are interesting, on the plus size they are adjustable and emulate a regular bicycle quite well, on the down side they have to be removed (with a little lever than remains attached at all times) to fold up the bike. The kick stand is also a bit difficult to operate but it is heavy duty. Overall I would recommend the bike for an adult 5'+, they should throw in the bike cover for free. Also, depending on your bike, you may have to have your Shimano derailer adjusted at a local bike shop, mine has trouble switching into first gear.

7/8/2013 Update

Please note the bell stopped working after ringing it about 50 times, the tires seem to have problem holding air when someone over 100 pounds rides the bike. I purchased new tubes to see if that was the issue. The kickstand is nearly impossible to fold up. If I was to rate again I would give it three stars.

Bike came double boxed with no damage to it in any form. Real easy to open up and ride away right out of box. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! These fold up bike rode like a real bike. I took them camping with me for those long walks to the bathroom. The handled hills and dirt roads without a problem. Good purchase.

The bike is awesome. I ordered the red and firstly i must say it looks gorgeous. Just a beautiful bike, alot lighter than i expected too. Upon its arrival i was able to mount it up in about half an hour. After a test spin i did some adjustments of the gears, and seat and that was it. I usually ride in the afternoons or nights after work, and I've been getting a lot of compliments. Everyone of my friends that took it for a spin were completely blown away by how smooth it rides. They went hysterical when i showed them how it folds. I already recommended this product to them. It cost me a bit to ship it because i live in the Caribbean but it was definitely worth it. I'm gonna install some lights on spokes to enhance it and as a precautionary for my night riding and that will be it.

I wanted a bike that was light and would fit in my car, that I could ride on road,on gravel roads and trails,go up hills, but didnt cost and arm and a leg.I did my homework and decided the Columba 20" 7 speed folding bike would be the one for me. This bike is great it feels and ride like a normal bike but folds in half and fits in the back of my Honda fit.I am a tiny woman (4'10") with arthritis in my shoulders but I have no problem geting it up a flight of stairs and in and out of my car cuz it only weighs about 30 lbs. I take it to work and go riding on my lunch breaks to for excersize and everyone is fasinated everytime I fold it up and tuck it in the closet. Its great on gravel, roads, and hills I love my new bike and recommend it to everyone who admires it.The seller 2KSILVER was fantastic,my bike came well packaged and within a week of ordering. They answered all my questions and had how to videos and well written instuction. The bike comes pretty much put together so it took me minutes to put it together and go on my first ride around the neighbourhood.I ordered the helmet to match my bike and bike bag for storage as well because they were such a great price. The only thing I would change on this bike if I could would be I would put holes to mount a water bottle bracket (I used zap straps) and I would have clips to hold the bike together when folded so you can wheel it around without it unfolding(I use a rubber buggy cord)This bike is a great purchase if you are looking for a bike to ride for fun and liesure around town.If you want to do mountain bike trails 2KSILVER also sells a folding mountian bike designed just for that.

Happy Biking:)

I bought this bike for my boyfriend's Christmas present. It's sturdy and well designed. It's also very attractive (I purchased the black with aluminum highlights). He's very pleased with the way it rides! The bike comes unassembled- we put it together but not correctly (brakes weren't) right- so we brought it to the local bike shop and they re-assembled it for $50.00. It's still a great deal at this very reasonable price point.

I bought two bikes, one for me and one for my partner. Also with two carrying cases. The Bikes are wonderful. They assemble in minutes. We have rode them on hills and they shift and work great. We took the bikes into hotel conferences in the bags and they were a little heavy to move that way. In the future you might consider bags with wheel on them. The bikes are perfect.

I haven't had a chance to ride this bike too much yet, but I am satisfied with it for the price, so far.
At 6' 0" and about 185lbs, I feel that I am at the upper-most limits for "comfortable" fit. I feel a little bit cramped on it, but it's not terrible.
I think the thing to keep in mind is that it is not a "performance" bicycle. If you keep it in perspective that it is a means of transportation which is faster and easier than walking, then the fit won't be as much of an issue and you'll find that it will meet your general expectations for a folding bike at this price.
Came in a box, which was also in a box. Neither box was damaged and no damage to the bike.
Assembly was pretty simple. The instructions are a little hard to figure out, but you really shouldn't need them. You should, as with any bike you may have shipped to you, give everything a once over before riding.
I haven't ridden it in the rain, but the included fenders are a nice-to-have. You may need to tweek them a little into position. Most likely jostled in shipping.
The rear rack is basic and also a nice-to-have. I haven't sized it for panniers or other accessories, yet.
The gear ratio is decent. You don't really want it geared too high with the 20" wheels. The low gear could stand to be a little bit lower. Given the frame geometry, I found it hard to get up steeper inclines without standing. For me, the frame geometry makes this tricky. If it was a long, steep hill, I might just get off and walk it.
No abnormal squeaking, except when really applying pedal pressure accompanied by pulling back hard on the handle bars (like when working up a steep hill). The headset makes a little noise.
