I ordered this, Columbia 100% Cotton Bath Mat, Dark Brown, actually assuming it would be maybe "ok" quality at best, due to the low price tag($9.99). Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!!! Aside from the beautiful medium/Dark rich chocolate brown color, the thickness is a quality thickness, the feel is nice & soft, and the material absorbent. Its edges are well-sewn together; just all-around well-made and durable, & has already withstood more than a few washings, with no shedding, fraying, or excessive shrinking(actually none, that I've noticed). And, they look really good, too! These are so good i ordered 2 and now want their towels with other bath mat colors to match towels when i get them! Try these, they are very nice!

Update: Just thought I'd let ya know that, 2 years & 8 months later, these still look and feel like new (and I'm a "laundry-holic"! Wow... I'm impressed!

This is so GREAT. I absolutely LOVED these mats. I felt like I was stepping on the little 'snuggles bear' from the ad.

I love this mat. It is great quality and more than I expected. It is similar to what you get in the hotels, but a little thicker. I highly recommend it.

I just received my mat today and it is just what I wanted. It is the perfect size and thicker/softer than regular hotel bath mats which are usually thin.
I may order another as a backup as these just cannot be found locally.

I had an arsenal of towels and bath linens I built up 20 years ago, back when textiles were really textiles, not dependent on one nation's mass production. But the bath mats were beginning to fray. So I put trust in the other, positive reviewers' opinions and bought a couple of these. They were right: thick, soft, lofty, sweetly white. And that was after washing and using. The price is more than fair, even if, in a year, they were to begin to fray about the edges, but the weave seems to be tight and reliable so I suspect I'll have them longer.

Exactly what I wanted. Thick- yet not too thick- dries easily in dryer. Wide enough to cover the area near the tub- yet small enough to not take up too much room. Thickness and quality are great. Will probably order more so every bathroom can have several on hand. Great for when guests are here- so everyone doesn't have to use the same bath mat.

I have two of these, one in light blue and the other in navy. Both have held up well. I like the fact that I can wash them in very warm water, as I want my bath items CLEAN, and they haven't shrunk or gotten frayed/ shabby looking.

Probably a good idea to order a lighter color, there are several choices. My navy mat looks dirty after using only once, and is showing wear a bit more than the light blue. But they do stay soft, even though I don't use fabric softener or anything other than hypoallergenic detergent. I paid regular price for mine, at the sale price of $10.00, these are a very good value.

Great quality. Even better price. They don't shed are soft and fluffy. No complaints at all.

I wanted a bath/shower mat that could just be hung up after use. I was unable to locate one at any local stores. This is exactly what I was looking for. Good quality for the price. Thank you Amazon.
