4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT DEAL ON BEGINNER BICYCLE!
I was a bit nervous about buying a bicycle over the internet, but found this to be a great experience. The bike was delivered very promptly, arrived in good condition and was just as advertised. The only "thing" missing was a set of instructions! because it had to be partially assembled. My husband had no problem doing this for me, but if not for him, I'd have had to...

3.0 out of 5 stars No assembly instructions or parts list.
Although the ad says "minor" assembly needed, it was more than "minor." No parts list or assembly instuctions are included. When I called the company to ask for directions, I was told to take it to a bicycle shop and have it done professionally.

The only "thing" missing was a set of instructions! because it had to be partially assembled. My husband had no problem doing this for me, but if not for him, I'd have had to take it to a bike shop. It rides well, except for the fenders whice tend to rub on the tires - I have to keep adjusting them. All in all, though, I LOVE my beautiful new bicycle - just like the one I had as a young girl. The price makes it great for folks like me who just was to "peddle around" for fun!

We purchased both womens & mens cruiser to use within our community..they arrived in just a few days...very please with the smooth ride and comforable seat...just be sure the fork is put on "the right way." .shipping & handling were free. That worked !! Didn't have to try to fit them in our car..Also I think they look better in person.

The frame is the only thing aluminum. The handlebars, pedals, and even the fenders have begun to rust in only 3 months.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick ship, great price!, November 18, 2006
This review is from: Columbia Women's Aluminum Cruiser (Sports)
I ordered both the mens and womens bikes last week. Paid $200 for both, shipping included (free SuperSaver shipping). I see that the price really shot up in the past week!

I agree with the last comment, the bikes look better in person than from the picture. Only had time to assemble the womens bike. Quality appears good, very nice frame welds. The packaging was adequate. The chain guard was slightly bent as was one spoke. No big deal.

Overall a great deal for the price. None of the local stores carry the low-end bikes. You have to order from their websites and pay shipping. I had originally ordered bikes from the Walmart website, but Amazon saved me $50!

This is the cutest bike and I absolutely love it! I am a novice bike rider so I don't know what makes a "super great bike" BUT if you want something light (to carry up stairs if you are a city dweller like me) and something mega cute and comfy this is it! AND ladies and gentlemen, its CHEAP! So go for it! This bike really really makes me happy!
