I bought this product to replace another Columbia Screen House. As always Columbia makes a great quality product. I was a little hesitant at first to the price tag on this product. After seeing the easy of putting it up and the Quality of the material....A+++++++

We recently bought this screen house even though some of the reviews were less than favorable. We took it camping this past week and found it easy to set up and take down. The second day after we set in up a thunder storm rolled in during the night. The directions advise against leaving it set up in heavy rains, etc. but the storm started around 3:00AM and we were not about to go out in it! At daybreak the screen house was still in perfect condition. We are more than satisfied with our purchase.

This is a wonderfully sturdy and nice looking screenhouse. It was easy to assemble, my neighbor and I completed it within about fifteen minutes. It looks nice enough to sit in the front yard, I put a futon and couple of chairs in there and use it as a reading room!!!. It keeps rain out really well and has endured some really heavy Florida downpours. The past few days have been very windy but the little house is holding fast. I am just delighted with this and highly recommend.

This canopy is wonderful! I love the `rain gutter' feature! No pooling of water whatsoever. This held up to the rain so well I ended up putting it OVER my sleeping tent during my rain-filled five day camping trip.

The only glitch I had was with the one carrying bag wheel and is being taken care of by the great customer service I received from Northpole, who manufactures this item. You can reach them at 1-866-706-9377. (Proof that reading Amazon discussion links yields results!)

I was going to go for a cheaper canopy, but after using this one, I am so glad I went for it.

Weve used this tent mainly to eat in or just sit in while BBQing at the beach. This tent is GREAT! We go to Bellows beach almost every weekend and camp there. It is VERY windy there. This has been our eating/hangout tent. Easy to set up with 2 guys working together. Strong frame (atleast way stronger than the others that were set up in the camping area. Easy to get in/out. We've had a large picnic table in there AND also a 6 foot folding table set up like a counter, and 8 kids+ 3 moms all in there at the same time eating with ZERO bugs flying around! There were a couple million bugs OUTSIDE the tent that did NOT get in, even with these kids constatnly going in-out. LOVE THIS TENT!! Also this tent is nice and TALL, as most my family are atleast 6ft.

We take this camping and to music festivals and it is amazing! The set up is easy, especially if you have more than two people. We've had no problems with it in heavy rain or winds. Make sure to take good care of the canvas covers, especially when wet. Make sure they are completely dry before packing them up:)!

We had a bit of an issue setting it up for the first time and the instructions weren't very helpful in resolving the matter. One of the bottom peices that you put a stake through was sticking to the top support peice on the legs. We figured it out thankfuly since it ended up raining on us while we were camping with our two month old. It makes for a nice place to hang out instead of the tent.

I purchased this after being dissapointed with my Shelter logic 12x12 shade tent.

The Sun Basin II is better built. It has lots of neat design features that make it easier to use. For one thing, it has wide buttons that you press to operate the leg locks. On the shelter logic, you just push on the metal knobs, old school. The Sun Basin has tie down rings, and tie down ropes. The canopy seems much heavier and better made than that on the Shelter Logic. I note that the canopy has some feature intended to eliminate ponding, but have not yet confirmed whether or not it works.
