I received this about a month ago (Jan 2008) What a beautiful comforter. It is very heavy, and the trim is leather trim or faux what ever the case may be. I did notice that some of the stitching on the bottom part where it crisscrosses in some places was coming apart. Not sure how it will withstand washings as you can wash it in the washer I believe. It would have to be at an oversized laudramat though. It is too bulky for your own washer. It is warm and cozy but I don't think it is worth what I paid for it. It's nice but could be nicer in the underside. It is just plain cotton
material. Nothing fancy. The shams are nice. Just a regular pillow I used and it fit tight. Nice.....I bought the matching sheets and these I didn't think were nice at all. Pretty but very wrinkley. You have to iron them defiantely. The pillow cases as well as the sheets. They wrinkle very easy. Very expensive for how they hold up.

We are very happy with this comforter - it is quite heavy and substantial, however the color is MUCH darker than the picture online. I would definitely recommend it though.

This ia a very nice set soft in texture yet masculine in presence. I have it in a guest room that
also doubles as my sons room when he is home from college. A little pricey when you buy all the
extra pillows like Euro and decorative ones, but the set is a good deal!

This comforter set is just beautiful. I received it in 3 days of my order. We are very pleased. It is well made and I get so many compliments on it.

My husband and I have been looking for a comforter set for years. This is the first that actually fits our deep king mattress like it was made for it. Goes well with our lodge theme and is well made. Good value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

What caught my eye about this comforter was the fact that it looked luxurious yet masculine. As a man looking for bedding, it was discouraging walking through stores because everything looked either cheap, grandparent-style, or woman-style. This comforter set is none of that. Like all of the other reviews said, it is very heavy and made with high quality. It is stitched, filled and finished in the USA with an imported shell for those like me who care about that sort of thing. The top side is a soft yet durable corduroy with a paisley pattern which looks really good with the rich, dark brown edges. I have a california king size bed and it has been great as it is very hard to find that size of bedding products in the midwest. I let my house get to 60F at night this time of year and it stays nice and warm under this comforter. The fact that it is a brand that I know and trust also made it easier to purchase without ever seeing it in person... that said, I highly recommend it to others, you won't be disappointed!

For the price - very, very nice. Like the other reviews state, this comforter is thick, of a good weight, warm and cozy. Just the right feel. Mine looks great - stitching well done, trim well done, etc. No complaints at all.

This is a beautiful comforter, very heavy and well made. The top is a very very small corduroy with paisley and a faux leather trim, bordered by a darker brown. It is very rich looking, both in color and texture. I gave it 4 stars because the underside is just a cheap cotton, but it's fine. You'd definitely want to use a top sheet because it would be very uncomfortable for sleeping.

This is a beautiful comforter set. Very nice looking, has a good quality to it. I would recommend it as it does not look cheap.
