Who knew Columbia made leather jackets?! I was really pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of this outerwear. The jacket was fantastically light and a nice soft supple leather. I didn't want to take it off!

Excellant value, great service. Jacket is warm, durable and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this nice leather jacket in XXL size direct from Amazon. Jacket arrived in a clear plastic bag on a plastic hanger; instructional tag on wrist of garment from Columbia Sportswear says not to store fine leather garments in plastic bags and to use only a wooden or padded hanger. Highly noticeable whitish (mildew)? blotching all over the back of the jacket took some care: wiped over it firmly with a wet cloth, surface looks great now.

The jacket sold for $99.00 compared to twice that much elsewhere.

I notice some irregularities (small flaws and unravelings etc) in the quilting stitch of the lining. That said, This is the nicest and most handsome leather jacket I have ever worn. It's very comfortable. The leather is soft but it seems durable too, and there is a thin insulating polyester fiber fill so the jacket is warm and substantial in the cold and wind. The knit collar lining is a nice touch, and you can zip it all the way up around your neck and chin for added warmth. The jacket lining is cotton except the sleeve lining is polyester. The leather itself has some mottling, texture, grain and color variations as naturally dyed leathers will. Two zippers on three inside pockets.

Update: garment went unavailable right after I bought. saw it again offered here but in large size only, 3 weeks later, @ $79. went to amazon customer service and got $20 bucks refunded because within 30 days. garment went unavailable again the next day.

I'd buy it a hundred times again. Soft leather, not too thin, not too thick. Great shape.
