Columbia makes beautiful snowsuits for small children and we are very happy with the excellent quality of this product. We purchased this item from Outdoor Kids. The color I ordered for my son was labled "intense red" and the photograph showed a picture of a red snowsuit with prominent blue and gray accent stripes. However, the product we received looked completely different from the image shown. We received a red snowsuit with black stripes. I telephoned the seller to find out what happened with the order and the person I talked to was friendly and courteous. She indicated that the picture shown on the website was an old image and that the product shown was no longer available. We were disappointed that we did not receive the item we thought we were ordering, based on the image shown. However, we decided to keep the snowsuit because we are happy with the quality.

This is a great snowsuit - thin, but very warm and waterproof. I love how the hood and waist have velcro so you can custom adjust it to fit your child.

In a perfect world, it would have a spot on the cuff to attach mittens, and ankle zippers to make it easier to put boots on.

I got this for my 21 month old son, and it's been great for the cold weather. It's not bulky, and it is very well made. I just wish it had mittens built in - my son doesn't get the point of regular ones, and I wish it had a different way to zip up so that you don't have to take one shoe off every time you take off the coat.
