The aggressive design of the Columbia Sportswear Burb Rider Parka is great for the slopes and the styling ideal for the energetic lifestyle of free ski. One of our 3-in-one Interchange designs, the shell of the Burb Rider is made of Alpha Grid Nylon which has a water-repellent surface finish on the outside and polyurethane coating on the inside for excellent wind/water resistance. The shell also features two zippered raglan chest vents providing a dramatic increase in air circulation, an interior music pocket and zippered security pocket, fleece-lined hand warming pockets, a draw cord adjustable collar and storage for the unique detachable hood offered on the liner jacket. Zip the liner jacket out of the shell and you'll notice the soft hand of the Omni-Therm Glissader Fleece. This microfiber fleece has a mechanical stretch for increased comfort and active fit. Of course, Columbia's famous Radial Sleeve construction is built in as well. This exclusive design eliminates restrictions and tugging that occur in the shoulders of ordinary jackets.
