The Grand Targhee II Parka features Columbia's 3-in-1 interchange system. The nylon outershell zips together with a 360 gram MTR fleece liner. This gives you the option to wear it three ways - as a heavy weight layered parka, as a lightly insulated nylon shell or as just the microfleece liner as jacket. The outershell offers Omni Shield water and stain resistant protection. Radial sleeves to allow for a full range of motion. Additional features includes an adjustable tuck-in collar hood, goggle pocket, and a security pocket to keep your valuables safe.

I bought this parka not too long ago, towards the end of winter. My reason for purchasing it was the price as it was half of what it might cost if bought form Columbia's website. Overall, I liked the color of the jacket (cocoa) and how it fit. I found that even with the inner shell lining, I still had enough room for lots of mobility. The warmth along is outstanding!! Without the inner shell, it makes a great rain coat and is still warm enough on its own! You definitely couldn't go wrong with buying this parka, Columbia rocks!!

Recently I bought this jacket... and I have to admit, I was a little bit suspicious before buying due that I couldn't find it on the official Columbia website (just wanted to check more features about it). Then, the price strongly influenced me and I bought it... let me tell you, I am 100% satisfied with it.

It fits perfectly, looks great and protects you as intended. It has this 3-in-1 design, easy to modify according to your needs and you can move your arms freely.

The outter jacket itself has on the inside of the neck a wool-fleece-like coating that keeps your neck warm enough, when chill outside and no need for a scarf.

I highly recommended it, it's up to you if you like its design... but as a purpose-built jacket, it works!
