This jacket features an Omni-Tech Storm Dry 365 outer shell, a tightly woven oxford weave that has a soft, supple hand and is versatile for all seasons in all conditions. The Omni-Tech technology in this jacket offers affordable waterproof/breathable weather protection. Wear the shell alone or zip-in the MTR fleece liner jacket made of a quick-drying, non-pilling polyester stretch fleece for Maximum Thermal Retention not to mention great looks by itself for daily use. Also a zippered security pocket and Columbia's famous Radial Sleeve construction is built in as well. As winter time approaches, I've found myself in need of a good winter parka, one that I can also use up on the mountain. This jacket has certainly served me well, as its two layers each serve as jackets themselves, while together, I know I'll never have a problem staying warm. The design on the wrist velcro is much improved over past years of Columbia jackets, as the strap accomodates better for when I'm not wearing ski gloves.
