First of all, this jacket will keep you warm, and it will keep you dry. No question about that whatsoever. I wore it while skiing in the Alps, and while at times my face and hands got a little chilly, everything covered up by this jacket was nice and toasty. I even had a few falls where I was basically rolling in snow, and yet nothing got through. I stayed warm and dry throughout.

It is a little "puffier" than I'd prefer, but that is only a minor nitpick. I'm sure you can get plenty of form-fitting style if you want to spend $200+ on a jacket. I don't. The Powder Lake II has been great for me at a very solid price.

Got this for under 60 bucks. I thought the small would be tight, but it turned out to be a little loose (I'm 5'6"). Overall, a good buy - light, keeps me warm, and lots of handy pockets.

I have bought the blue on - Powder Lake II Jacket. I somehow love this jacket, mainly because it meets my requirements and it's very light weighted. It have these stickers and hidden zips helping to prevent the pockets getting weight. Compared to my previous skii jacket, this one is light and soft and fluffy. Columbia guys have done good engieering even on a jacket. 7 Stars.

I ordered this coat with super saver shipping so it was free and was sent to me by 2 day air, which was amazing! Although it didn't fit, I returned this item and received a refund immediately. I ordered a new one which he loves and it now fits great! My husband is only 6' tall but needed a long. Great service and return policy!!!

The jacket was perfect!! My husband is going to be thrilled when he opens this christmas morning :-)
